  • Xinzhuang Culture and Arts Center- A headquarter of cultural preservation and promotion

    Our building has a facade constructed mainly with red brick, embellished by light green and grey tiles. The building design comprises both rectilinear and circular forms. It is a multifunctional arts center whose space caters to a wide variety of activities. Our spaces include concert hall, arts space, periodical room, reading room, and Taiwanese puppetry heritage center, providing a wide array of arts and cultural access to our users.

  • Light and Shade: Huei-Lin CHIOU ‘s Multimedia Solo Exhibition

    “The veil of Isis’ is a metaphor that describes uncovered secrets or concealed truth. In this exhibition, CHIOU applies brushstrokes to create contemporary lines and shades to imply the revealing of the Isis’s veil. CHIOU’s work, which is rich with movement and stillness, is a depiction of the abstract expression of time.

  • Light and Sound in Ari No Mochi

    Arinomichi is a secrete passageway built in the Japanese colonial era. It was used to transport munition. With ten exits in total, arinomochi’s partitions and walkways were laid out in a cruciform manner, protecting both the munitions and workers. After the area became the residence of military families, the arinomochi became the ideal secrete venue for children’s games and adventures.

  • Wonderland - The Mud Monster Illustration Exhibition

    Wayao Creek is an urban river located in the Zhonghe and Yonghe areas. In the past, residents would go to the creek to swim, fish and boating, yet due to rapid urban development, the natural environment of the creek has slowly changed. This exhibition, which focuses on the illustration book “Mud Monster,” will take everyone on a journey to explore the natural and cultural landscape of Wayao Creek.
