  • 2019 Love Theater – Performing Arts In New Taipei City

    Every artist views the world with a different perspective. The beauty and taste of life serves as the inspiration for theater, a dance ensemble and any piece of music. With these nine special programs, we invite you to experience the purest theatrical thrill.
    “2019 Love Theater – Performing Arts in New Taipei City” is full of exciting programs by top performers. in August, the professional Taiwanese theater group “Diabolo Dance Theatre” brings their highly acclaimed new production “Valo the beginning - Amiba.” In September, “Tainaner Ensemble” joins the relay and presents the lighthearted jazz musical: “Twelfth Night - A Shakespearean Musical” Coming in October, “Courtesan Courage” by “Open Theater Group” is a pure comedic experience,. In addition, the program also includes the premier of “tick, tick...BOOM!” the first rock musical co-produced by Taiwan and the US.
    The November programs include a brand-new acrobatic children’s play “Donkey Run Away” of “New Image Theater Group;” the classical repertoire, “The Emperor and the Nightingale” by “Puppet Beings Theatre,” and the acclaimed musical “DAYLIGHT” of VM Theatre Company. Now in December, we present Taipei Philharmonic Theater Group’s latest music production “Love is love,” and the BL rock musical “New Member” by Against Again Troupe. From August to January 2020, “Love Theater – Performing Arts In New Taipei City” brings you fantastic performances month after month. It is an opportunity for you to be enchanted by the beauty of theater through melody, sound and dance.

  • 2020 New Taipei City International Metal Crafts Competition Call for Entry

    The entry for the Competition will open on January 1, 2020, with prize money exceeding NT$ 680,000. The entry categories include Object and Jewelry. Please refer to New Taipei City Gold Museum’s website and Facebook fan page for more information.

  • The Taiwan Ceramics Awards 2019

    The exhibition showcases the works of the following artists: Chen Huan-Tang, winner of The Achievement Award; LEE Shih-Hwa, Grand prize winner of the Creative Award, and Hsu Hsu-Lun, Grand prize winner of the Utilitarian Award. As part of the exhibition are works of the 2017 Avant-garde Award Dual Solo Exhibition HU Hui-Chin and LU Yen-Yu. This is a feast of the arts not to be missed!

  • Tea Academy - Digital Interaction and Exploration Space

    The Tea Academy - Digital Interaction and Exploration Space Exhibit, based on the historic work of Lu Yu, Tea Classic, relates tea culture to contemporary audiences in fun and digestible ways. Combining physical interactive displays with lively animations and AR/VR technologies, visitors are taken on a journey of discovery into the fascinating world of tea.

  • The Battle of Tamsui: Simulation Experience Hall

    The 1884 Battle of Tamsui taken place between imperial China and France, was one of the few victorious battles of Taiwan under the imperial Chinese government. You will be able to see the different strategic military movements through experiencing the recreated battlefields.
