  • Oceanic Treasure - historic marine trade of Taiwan

    This exhibition consists of the priceless collection from seven Taiwanese and Japanese museums. Collections include the prominent Taiwanese trading objects in the past, including jade, glass, porcelain and deerskin. This exhibition visualizes the marine trading history between Taiwan and its neighbors that spanned four hundred years.

  • The symphony of fabric

    Amongst the Taiwanese indigenous communities, the Atayal people are known for thei r
    weaving skills. Their traditional costumes are mostly woven with ramie, then interwoven
    with colored wool or with shell decoration. The costumes includes top, vest, kerchief, skirt and headdress. Colors vary from region to region.

  • Master, Artisan, Craft

    This program puts the intangible cultural treasure of the New Taipei City in the spotlight. You will have the opportunity to be part of the mastery of Yue Lin Yuan from Linkow, the pinnacle of Baiguan Amateur Style music in Taiwan. Also in the exhibition are the lion heads created by Master paper sculptor Xue Jian-fu, and the traditional craftwork of Master Chen Chao-Yan, the master of the traditional bolting techniques. The master artisans will be giving onsite lectures and workshops to demonstrate their traditional skills.

  • Keep Stories Alive

    This exhibition is based on film scripts. It begins by an introduction to the structure of category of scriptwriting. Following the presentation of a huge variety of storylines, the exhibition takes the audience to retrace the collective memory of Taiwan.

  • 2019 NTPC Theatre Festival
