    CAR-->Take Heping West Rd. Sec. 3 in Taipei, over Huajiang Bridge and proceed along Wenhua Rd., turn right on Minquan Rd., then make a left turn. The Garden is next to the Banqiao Second Stodium.

    BUS-->Take bus number 264,307,310,701,702 and alight at Lin Family Mansion and Garden stop to reach Banqiao’s Lin Family Mansion and Garden.

    MRT-->Take Banqiao Line (Blue line) to Fuzhong MRT Station, and leave by Exit 1. The Garden is an 8-minute walk from the station.

    Water Shadow Dance – Sequel to “Ephemeral Thoughts”
    The story begins with a letter left by the late father of Hui-zen Tan, the choreographer. A letter that was only to be opened 14 years after it was written. The dance is a reorganization of the intimate exchange between the father and daughter. Tan, who has lived with the memory of her father, decided to pay tribute to her father with this dance.

    Dance Forum Taipei “Peculiar Journey of Leonce and Lena” No. 2- A Blue Knight and a White Knight
    This gem-like yet humorously-endearing dancing theater for children is written by Xiao Ye, directed by Hong Hong, and choreographed by Cui-shia Lai. It features creative yet varied body and performing languages, and combines stylish lightning and imagery technologies to build a bridge between parents and children.

  • 2017 Tamsui Environmental Arts Festival

    A boisterous stomp-the-street parade this year will be presented as a carnival. Everyone is invited to wander the streets and laneways of Tamsui, and get a taste of its unique beauty and culture. The Environmental Theater brings arts into the life of Tamsui residents, enables them to unleash their acting bug on stage, and to demonstrate the essence of the Arts Festival through close interaction with visitors on the street.
    Parade- Tamsui Dance, Street Arts
    The theme for the Parade this year is “Tamsui Dance, Street Arts.” The management have invited several performing troupes to participate. They include performers of Brazilian-style drummers, European folk dance, French vaudeville, African percussions, and a program by performers from 50 groups representing schools, community and business, to liven up the historic streets of Tamsui.

    Environmental Theater- The Curious Journey to Wu Hu Gan
    The environmentally-inspired epic theater program, “The Curious Journey to Wu Hu Gang” opens with the daintily-mannered daughter of the Mount Guanyin. On the stage that is deliberately set before Mount Guanyin and Tamsui River, the epic play, which tells of the thousand-year old history of Tamsui, will dazzle you with its stunning choreography and poignant audio-visual effects. With its newly composed soundtracks, this theatrical piece reinterprets the format of environmental theater, and will lead audiences to Tamsui in both past and present through a time capsule.

  • The Taiwan Ceramics Awards 2017

    Date: Now until 2018/01/14
    Venue: Special Exhibition Rooms

    In addition to introducing the creative process, the exhibition will focus on 6 major themes: "Early works, making tools", "Mysterious black ceramics, creating a different world in limited space", "Natural earth, exploring the magnificent of the world", "Heterogeneous intervention, reflection of materials", "Universal nature, spiritual communication" and "Traces of man in the natural landscape", showing 70 pieces of classic works, leading the audiences feel the flow of vitality image. Furthermore, especially inviting 6 outstanding ceramic artists taught by Liou, Chen-chou to co-exhibit, symbolize the endless sustainable heritage of ceramic education.

    CAR-->Exit Sanying Interchange on National Highway No. 3, pass over Sanying Bridge (in the Yingge direction), and proceed along Wenhua Rd. to public parking lot.

    BUS-->Take Taipei Bus No. 702, No. 917, No. 851, No. 981; or take a Taoyuan Bus Co.bus to Yingge.

    TRAIN-->Take a commuter train to Yingge train station, the museum is a 10-minute walk from the Wenhua Rd. exit.

  • Virtual Reality of Exploring the “S. S. Bokhara”

    Venue: Shihsanhang Museum of Amphitheater, New Taipei City/1F Discovery Center

    The S.S. Bokhara was discovered near Gupo Islet. In 1892, the ship set off from Shanghai, but sank in a typhoon. The incident was reported at the time by the international press. Because there were crowns and large amounts of gold and silver coins dredged up from the sunken ship, it was also called the “Prince Ship”. Now, you just need to pick up and put on the goggles and enjoy the virtual reality about the S.S. Bokhara.
